The MIPIM Awards recognize excellence and innovation in the real estate arena. 

For the past 20 years, the MIPIM Awards have been honouring outstanding real estate projects throughout the world, according to five distinct categories: business centres, green buildings, hotel and tourism resorts, refurbished office buildings and residential developments.

For the first time this year, the competition drew over 80 entries from 28 countries. The prestigious jury elected 15 finalists – three in each of the five categories.

Two Belgian architects were nominated for their projects: Assar Architects and Lowette Architecture, both established in Brussels.  A distintion which adds to their international notoriety.
