Brussels regional government launches ICT plan 09/02/17

The Government of the Brussels Capital Region is embarking on an ambitious long-term plan to stimulate initiatives in the ICT field.

In addition to recently launched projects in the fintech and medtech areas, the Region has now announced the creation of an 8 million euro programme under the banner of ‘NextTech Brussels’.

The sectors to be prioritised in this 20-point programme range from Internet and artificial intelligence development to virtual and advanced reality technologies.

The Brussels Capital Region Government plans to initiate work on ten of these priorities in the current year.
